Shanghai Aerospace (Chinese & English) is a journal supervised by the China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation (CASC), sponsored by the Shanghai Academy of Spaceflight Technology (SAST), and co-organized by the Shanghai Society of Astronautics (SSA).
The journal was founded in 1984 and is published bimonthly on the 25th. It is recognized as a China Scientific and Technological Core Journal and a source journal for the Chinese Science Citation Database (CSCD) (Core Edition).
This journal primarily publishes scientific and technical papers on pre-research, development, testing, and engineering practices related to systems and subsystems such as satellites, rockets, manned spaceflight, deep space exploration, and missiles. It also introduces relevant new concepts, new methods, new technologies, and theoretical explorations. After more than 30 years of development, Shanghai Aerospace (Chinese & English) has become a vital window for promoting aerospace technological progress and showcasing aerospace scientific research achievements. It serves as a platform and nexus for academic exchange and information sharing among superior authorities, users, universities and colleges, and peer institutions. Submissions are welcome from technical personnel engaged in aerospace research and development work.
